Hey people, I need your advise on the following:

I already order a GY401 & S9253 and I will installed on a Shuttle ZXX as soon it arrive.

My problem is that I can not get rid of a small vibration I have in the heli.

I have change all the thing you can imagine: Spindle, Main mast, Tail output shaft, etc....

And the skid is still shaking.................Can I install the GY 401 with this vibration problem and it going to perform OK?????? Do this vibration is going to make the tail wag????

THX

Try this

In the Shuttle the skids are real sensitive and you will see vibration.

Some things that might fix your problem:

Balance the Head, main blades, fan & Clutch assy, tail rotor.

Watch that head RPM, I found that backing my throttle curve back to 40-45 in the middle slowed the head down which took out the high freq vibs.

Engine tuning; a poorly tuned engine will increase vibration problems too. If the engine is new, give it a few flights (10) to get broke in.

Yes, you can install the GY401 with the above problems. It will do a fairly good job. But if you have lots of vibration and bad running engine then it will wag. If you can get those skids to smooth out you will have it licked.
