Are there any members on here from around the LaPorte Ind. or michigan Ciity area that may be familiar with the OKTOBERFEST that goes on there on the weekend of Laborday? If you read the "WHAT DO YOU DO" post you would see that I own a traveling amusement company and this past weekend was my convention for booking spots. Anyway i ended up booking this OKTOBERFEST in LaPorte Ind. they tell me that it is a very popular event with big attendance. If anyone know about this could you please post about it. I am hoping i made a good decision on this one as it is quite aways out of my way from my normal area. Thanks Guys........... Wes

Hi Wes...

I live in Valparaiso , which is about a 30 min drive to LaPorte, I have never been to Oktoberfest , cant help ya much there, but I did find the website info on it tho, http://toweronline.org/oktoberfest/
Heck maybe even if I have my heli together by then you can come on down and Fly a few tanks in the outskirts of Valparaiso.
What kind of amusements do you have?? Are we talkin about the stand up booths or the bigtime realy nice rides??

When i signed the contract on the spot they gave me the information about there website so i had that. Thanks for lookin it up for me though. I put a link to their website on the frontpage of my site. I was just lookin for someone that might of been there to the event at sometime or other. Hey....... my heli is always with me on the road as we are constantly at fairgrounds or big open lots. Would be glad to try and hook up and fly a few tanks. We will be at the LaPorte fairgrounds so there is plenty of area. You can see our rides and stuff at www.central-il-amusements.com We arent real big but we are medium size. We play a few county fairs and big events. My father also owns a amusement buisness and between the 2 of us we have 37 rides. So with that many we can cover quite alot. Thanks for takin the time to reply and look up that URL for me.
