Why is this being held in Wloclawek, Poland? I know the Polish population has a great love of RC Helicopters but heck lets give another Country a chance next time. Next time lets consider these places:
1. Grytviken in South Georgia in the Atlantic Ocean near Antartica has plenty of space.
2. Bouvet Island which is the most remote island in the world would be great!
3. De Aar, South Africa has plenty of flat land.
Even though Wloclawek, Poland is a MAJOR population center we should spread the love of F3C around to other Countries.
Come-on lets start donating some $$$$ now!

The process for selecting the host country for an FAI World Championship begins many years before the event. It involves a bidding procedure wherein prospective hosts submit their bids to a committee which evaluates their eligibility and selects the winner following a rigid set of standards.

The US Team has arrived in Poland and secured their models. They are supposed to check out the WC site and the practice field today along with getting over the jet lag.
