No kidding! Mine spins at over 2k rpm- seems way too much (or intimidating) for a 90 size! I'm thinking of dropping the voltage down to 10s or 11s.

config:
MSComposit 680 blades
LRK 43somthing (the motor suggested by revolution for 12S)
2X 6S 4Ah thunderpower
Schulze 140A ESC
flight time, about 7-8 min

Good morning,

i think you have to fly the E-Revo under 2K headspeed. 1,9K is ok...!
the 2 Videos in my last reply are with 1900 headspeed!

Revolution

I am in love with the look of the Revolution

I think it's about one of the COOLEST looking helis out there!

I have thought MANY times about buying one...in fact I have spoken with at heli world quite a few times as well. I have a few unique and VERY pricey machines but can never quite get myself to pull the trigger on this heli...the price of the kit isn't all that bad really..I think it was only like 1300$ last time I checked a couple months ago...the real decision maker for me is the cost of the replacement parts. Crash index(cost of shafts/boom etc) is INSANELY high. The parts are just WAYYY to expensive for my taste ...If I got one of these it would be a TOTAL shelf queen and would never see the abuse it deserves...I already have a few shelf queens so I will probably never get one of these unless I get a smoking deal on one..

ALSO---the power is not all that impressive in the videos I have seen...my Roxxters and my logo 600 seem to have as much if not more power than these revolutions...

Roxxters ROCK!!!

These are some of the prices

Main Shaft 21.95
Tail Boom 17.49
Clutch Flyweight OS 46.95
Clutch Lining 16.95
Clutch Bell 75.95
Swash Plate 86.95
Main Spindle 12.95

And, of course the rate of exchange is not helping.

There are some Aluminum Swashplate Assembly for some 50's in between 79.99 and $119

Swashplate Assy, V9 Vibe 90, CCPM $124.99

CCPM Swash Assembly CS $147.9

X-Cell parts are not cheap either

So for .90 some parts are expensive and some are not
