Yes! For less than $6USD, you can get a gearset that has the two nylon gears in it. You can purchase Futaba part number FUTM3340. This nylon gearset includes the two nylon gears used in the 9204, plus two other nylon gears that will be of no use to you, most likely. BTW, Futaba has this information in chart form on their website:

Greg, I think I know what your getting at after reading all the hooplah about metal gear servos not being good for heli's, this may be true for Hitecs, and others but Futaba is different. I run 9204 for my collective with both of my heli's with no problems, yes they will start to develop slop, but so will all nylon geared servo's. Once they do develop slop all you need to do is replace the nylon portion of the gearsets in the 9204's and your back up and running. Also, the futaba 9151 is an all nylon gearset servo that has the same torque as the 9204, however futaba recommends the 9204 for bigger heli's more over the 9151, whereas the 9151 just conforms to the bigger heli's.

Just look here:http://www.futaba-rc.com/servos/servo-application.html
So I wouldnt be so concerned with switching your 9204 to an all nylon gearset. IMHO, Daz...

thanks! yeah, my problem is that my 9204 on my sceadu is getting a bit sloppy and I did not want to buy a 9151 unless I had to... although I feel the sudden urge to replace the 9202's (which are also a bit loose) wtih 9252 or maybe I will just replace their gearsets too. the 9202's seem to be fast enough for me....

as a side note, do you know where to get any grease appropriate for the servo gears?

thanks

Thats what I would do, you can get the nylon replacement gears for the 9204 for $6 or $7, and your good to go. As far as the 9202's they do have plenty of torque for your application, but they are a tad slow, however if there working good for you, just replace the gears in them too. That would be alot cheaper than buying a set of 9252's, I do run the 9252's in both my Freya/YS80, and Raptor 70 , and they work great. Daz...

Oh as far as the grease, I would recommend a dab of Slick 50, you can buy at any auto parts store.
