My father owns an ECO7 Sport and I would like to find a good, but cheap, brushless motor for longer flight times. He will be running an 8 cell 4200 battery.

I am guessing that I need a 1,500Kv motor and a 40 amp ESC.

Thanks for any advise you guys can throw my way1

You can purchase and Axi 2820/08 for $85.60 at Hobby Lobby for it.

Would the Axi be a good duration motor for it? Is this a motor you guys would use in an Eco8?

Thanks for the input HeliDuce!

Yes it's the same exact motor that Eco 8 uses and Ikarus sells for far more money. With a 19 tooth pinion and the plastic cooling fan added that is sold by AXI you can get over 20 minutes using a 5,000ma 3-cell pack.
