| The parts are starting to arrive now. Their was limited parts availability on the first 2 batches due to the Chinese New Year. Now that production is in full swing, parts will be arriving regularly. I can tell you this, the frames are very strong and durable. I crashed hard on my 3rd flight, due to one of the paddles coming off during flight, and the frames survived unscathed. All of the common repair parts (such as boom, tail boom supports, spindle, bearings, etc.) are the same as the Knight 50 Sport/Pro. The main shaft is the only exception (but these are available) because they are slightly shorter in length. Give Chris a call at RCHeliWorks and he can assist you further.
I would not hesitate to replace your Raptor 50. That is exactly what I did. For only a few a little bit more, you get one heck of a heli. The Knight 3D flies better than my fully blinged out Raptor 50 with the full Kasama head/tail grips, QUK tail case, etc. I had to spend over $300 in upgrades to get my Raptor 50 to fly similar to how the Knight 3D flies right out of the box. If you get it, you will not be disappointed.
