I love how some people love to put there two cents in where they dont have any idea whats going on. I have cheated anyone out of any money or items. I dont think i would put my job on the line for a few hundred buck.

That was my 3 cents, I put what most people put in and more. I just commented because of the silly remark, remember?

Cops need procedures, so here it is REAL plain.....

1. Post it
2. Sell it
3. Ship it

I dont know why it's important that you need to throw your weight around if you REALLY are a cop. Maybe because it gives you more duping ability..who knows. I know one thing, a man is only as good as his word, cop or no cop.

HELIKRASHER......
Whats your problem with Police?? You fail the test? Jealous that they are exempt from traffic laws? Did you break the law and get caught and BLAME the Police for what YOU did? You sound just like every other "joe" that got arrested. They do a job that some don't want or can't do, deal with scumbags, death, fear of death, and are hated 'cause they wear a badge. Do you have a nice 8-4 desk job? See your family on holidays? Weekends off? Police get perks just like everyone else does in their own jobs. Funny how some on this forum are so quick to trash a guy, nice and safe hundreds or thousands of mile away.

Alright carter, so it's OK for police to break the law just cause they need to get a donut shop in a hurry? In high school, I had a friend that got t-boned by a cop because the cop was illegally speeding, I'm sure he got a slap on the wrist while my friend got over 40 stitches and a concussion. When they get caught driving drunk, their buddies escort them home and tow the car to the driveway. Is that right? No, not all police break the law, and I commend the ones that are respectable, law-abiding, law enforcers, but everytime I see one on public roads they're speeding, driving recklessly (I have proof of this incident), never using turn signals. Any position, political or law enforcement, that gives ordinary citizens more authority than the rest causes risk of abuse and corruption. If you don't think that then you're turning a blind eye. No, I didn't fail the test, I never took it, I would rather be a public defender for the many wrongfully accused or in internal affairs so that I could try to establish a better watchdog program to not only monitor law enforcement for inappropriate actions and rightfully penalize the ones that perform them. But instead, I am just an ordinary guy and when I see cops speeding, I guess they set a fine example. I don't blame them for what I do and am by no means jealous, but when's the last time you saw a cop car get pulled over for driving violations? Try this, try to pull a cop over that is breaking the law and make a formal complaint or citiizen's arrest and see how quick you end up in jail or get shot only to have his buddies pull up and laugh about how ridiculous what you just did was. There's many laws that are convieniently overlooked just a bit too often and it's only getting worse. And I don't get perks in my own job, I go to work, work hard and get my job done, and go home. There's nothing funny about what I've said, and I wasn't making a joke about police. We need more good cops, unfortunately, I think the bad ones will outnumber the good as long as the violations are few and the penalties are mediocre. Wake up. I see reality, you've been watching too much Reno 911 because being a cop doesn't make you a great person and a hero, being a good cop does.

I'm also having the same problem with the guy.

I bought a Duralite 4000 battery off of him. I tried to Paypal him and his account was locked, that should have been my first clue to pass on the item for sale. He tells me that his account will be open again in a few days, then he gives me another account to send the payment to, I think this one was his wife's. I send the payment and that's the last I hear from him for days, I PM'ed him about 3 or 4 times wanting some type of confirmation that he did receive my payment. I finally get a reply after emailing him also saying he was "Out of town" and that my battery has been "mailed already".

After a few days of waiting for it to show I emailed him again asking for a tracking number or when and how it was shipped. I got a reply yesterday saying the shipper was electronically notified on the 15th. So all this crap before was just spin about having it shipped already.

What a looser, I have bought and sold on RR for years and maybe I was just lucky but I have never ran across a member like this guy.

I feel when you have an item for sale and you receive a payment, let the buyer know the payment has been received. Let him know a time frame when the package will ship. I feel shipping should be with in a day or two after payment has been received, send the buyer a confirmation # or a tracking number to let him know it's in the shippers hands and on its way.

If you don't have the time to do what I listed above, then don't list an item for sale until you do.

carter I have a lawn mower shop, I guess I need to tell everybody when I sell something or don't ship that I have a lawn mower shop, what the hell does that mean, I get a free pass or what. I stand behine a cop or sheriff but there just like the rest of us, they chose that to do and I think 99% of them do a grat job, it's the 1%(moorecj98)that cloud the picture. Just because moorecj98 a sheriff does not give him a free pass, if he's a doctor, cop, sherfiff, lawn mower shop guy, pumps gas, truck driver, or so forth, just do what's right. Bobby

It's not how you ship, it's when you ship. I ship everything the quickest, economical way (unless the buyer states otherwise), which is either USPS or Fedex. Even Fedex ground takes only 1 to 3 days, USPS hardly ever takes more than 2 to 4 days. Best rule, do unto others, if you bought something, when would you expect the seller to ship? After surgery, after a stakeout, as soon as their spouse can do it? I would never let anyone ship anything for me because it's the same as cosigning a loan, you're pinning your responsibility and reputation on someone else's shirt. If it's that much of a problem then instead of shipping a $20 item overnight for $45 and making the buyer pay for it, ship it C.O.D. so they can wait until they get it to pay for it. Why should anyone eexpect the buyer to pay for outrageous shipping charges because of your procrastination? C.O.D. would only cost you a few bucks. The buyer is paying YOUR price for your item which is always mutually agreed upon), and the buyer is often asked to pay Paypal fees (which I don't see being unreasonable since Paypal's fees are ridiculous), they should receive their item im a timely manner. I recently shipped something first class in Priority Mail packaging and the post office made the recipient pay the extra $1.30 for priority shipping. Though he said it was no big deal, I sent an immediate apology and a few dollars to cover the charges, the fees on that few dollars and a little extra for good measure, not because I had to, but because that is what I would expect him to do had I bought the item off him. I don't see any reason to take more than 2 to 3 days to ship something once it is paid for, and if that is done, I seriously doubt anyone would ever complain. It would almost be 1 step closer to world peace .

Helikrasher...Again the Police are EXEMPT from TRAFFIC LAWS, I agree that they should not speed or violate laws for no reason. My problem with what you are saying in your previous posts is that ALL cops are bad. All cops go to donut shops blah blah blah. Before I judge your friend for pulling out in front of a Police car, I would have to know the whole story, and not from you. Your tone sounds biased and hateful. I am sorry that your friend got hurt, cops get hurt too. Too many people judge ALL Police by one or two negative encounters with a rude or dick headed cop. There are plenty of them. But you do not know what they are doing, where they are going or why they are driving faster than you. The Police do not have time to explain what they are doing to every person who says "why are you driving so fast". People today want the police to solve all of their problems, people need to take charge of their own lives and handle their affairs. The police in general, are over worked. People dial 911 to ask for directions, they tie up police on BS calls about a kid running thru their yard, or a barking dog. There are tens of thousands of Police in the USA and 99% are good, law abiding people, don't lump the good with the bad with generalized statements. This thread is about a GUY not shipping stuff out in a timely manner. Police are monitored by their administration, elected officials, policies and proceedures, and the LAW. There are too many liberal "watchdog" groups out there today messing up America. The more you make Police afraid of doing their jobs the worse it will get in the USA. I bet you agree that the 2 Border Patrol Agents who shot and killed 2 illegals smuggling drugs into the US deserve to be in prison right now. They did their job protecting you, and now because some LIBERAL idiots that think we should should have open borders, these 2 Heroes are in jail. Not right at all.

Bjack
I just don't understand what you wrote.......but you can't tell me that you don't save money on parts and lawn mowers you buy for yourself. That would be a perk of owning a lawn mower shop.

Dude, read it 'I followed cops before on more than 1 occasion just because I was going the same way'. That's how I know where they're going. Yes, they're exempt from traffic laws when they have lights or lights and sirens on. You see cops blow stop signs and red lights? I have and they just blirp their siren. Tell me how dangerous that is. 1 or 2 bad ones?? Maybe in your Mr. Roger's neighborhood but not in my city. You think they're all innocent and all good upstanding people, wake up man. You say that I said "All cops are bad" ... show me where I said it or you're the one saying it.

That's what I said, are you illiterate? I'm not biased or hateful, I just state fact. I never made a biased or hateful comment, YOU are the biased one for the police. Did they get your kitty out of the tree last week so now they're all your heroes? Well, I don't need the police to solve all my problems. I could care less. Your car gets broke into, you call the cops, they fill out a worthless report unless you have a damn good deductable, ful coverage insurance, and that's that. They didn't solve crap, and they aren't putting out an APB or assembling a task force to find your new CD player that was taken out of your ca either. I'd go straight to the store, buy another one, andget it installed before the cops even showed up. Police aren't monitored ... you kidding me?? You can see them hanging out hours on end a quarter-mile from my house in this little dark parking lot for half the night. No, they're not looking for speeders, I've sped by them many times, I don't even slow down right there anymore. People calling 911 to ask for directions?? They get a dispatcher which hangs up on them if that's all they're calling for, the dispatcher doesn't radio a cop and take away from his job to see if wal-mart really is on 3rd street for some guy on the line. I handle ALL my own affairs and the cops are rarely seen in my quit neighborhood, you must live on the corner of eavesdrop Road and Bingo Blvd. where every jack and jill looking out their windows with binoculars call SWAT to your house cause you scared fluffy the poodle with your lawnmower by starting it up too early. You work for consumer reports or what? How do you know that 99% are good? I say many are bad and don't deserve their job or respect, but I imagine MOST are good. And I've NEVER heard of a cop afraid to do their job .... how do you figure that?? When someone shoots at them in a high speed chase do they back off and let the chopper follow until they bail? No, they start blasting back with shotguns to blow the tires out or speed up and ram them off the road. I don't know which episode of COPS you saw. And those 2 cops weren't protecting me, they were doing their job, you sound like Rumsfield. Yeah, and Bjacks really gets a perk from his lawnmower shop by buying mowers for himself ..... what the @#$%? How many mowers you think he needs? He buys mowers and parts to sell for profit in a RETAIL business that is legitimate. He doesn't smuggle drugs in a lawn-boy. You're not making ANY sense, what are you a security gaurd at a crappy department store that looks up to the real badges with envy and hope and a sparkle in your eye? Cause it sounds like you're just sucking up to the boys in blue ... I just tell it like it is.

This is kinda fun....are you 16?? "I speed by the cops and they don't do anything"...no DUDE I live in NYC. A real big city, I am well educated and am not buddying up to anyone. Cops don't need to have their lights on to be Exempt...check the laws in your state. In NY police are exempt from traffic laws, but they must still drive safely. Your points in this tread are meaningless...you are a punk. If it weren't for the cops in the USA you wouldn't be able to write in this forum, you would be in jail. The US would be just like Iraq, or any other dictatorship. Oh yeah as for your CD player who really gives a sh!t....there is real crime to fight. Get a hair cut, turn off PS3 get back to reality. If you think that the police just hang out in parking lots run for political office in your city and change that. Try this, move your office to your car, drive around for 40 hours a week and see how many people question what you are doing. How would you like it if the general public hovered over you while you were in your office, making sure that you didn't talk to another co-worker too long or take a personal call. If you have a public job, everything you do is scrutinized. Gotta go now, I have a job.

Yeah, cause I don't think anybody would pay you for that bunch of bull thus far, educated where? Cause if it was a college you ought to try getting your money back since security guards don't get paid much.

There's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one, what do you think traffic laws are for??? Duh, didn't know you were so sensitive, but since I made you cry enough I'll let you get back to work, giving NY cops BJs.
