| Knowing how I think you are about heli's, it would matter I think you could run the SAB755 like Gary Saia on the stock gear ratio, but you would still have to watch your boom lenght..
I would wait til you pick whatever scale project you prefer...Even if you don't run the scale heads, you would still want to run different speeds..
Such as a Hughs 500, you wouldn't have a slow speed on it, even with a two blader flybar...
The RC 230 with the right ratio can really sound good....I call it the Poor man's turbine...
BTW, I think I told you this already, keep the rpms down if you use the plastic blade holders...1500 and no higher is fine from what I have found.. No matter how much pitch you put on it, it will still try to overspeed..So you will have to limit your throttle, or put a gov on it
Vario needs to redo the stock gear ratio for that new engine, or go to longer blades...
