when i spooled up my ecco the other day the motor come on too fast and it sheered off the bolt going through the head block.the controler is on very soft start also.now i spin the head by hand and give it a boost before i power it up. the 550 must have too much power Ron

I did once. Dont remember the circumstances right off hand. that 2mm bolt is pretty small but seems to be ok most of the time.

Fly it like its a rental...

Hey All,

Yup me too. Think I accidently hit idle up from stopped and
it sheared right away. Actually it'll bend a little just flying
hard on the 480mm blades (67153s) .

Now I run the govenor on Castle controllers and it starts
real slow. Progress can be nice..........
