I am looking for some help locating a tail rotor drive shaft for a Futura Nova that is installed in a Robbe Alouette scale body. It is part#1822, and is approx 110cm long, 6mm stainless tube. Robbe Germany no longer lists this part and is of no help with my situation. The drive shaft is the same as other Robbe tail drives, just longer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jason,

The only 6.0mm OD. stainless steel tube that Robbe now makes is S1205 and its 787mm long.
The longest Robbe TT is 980mm long aluminum, 6.0mm OD. Robbe Part #S1685

perhaps a solution is to get some 6mm stainless medical tubing
and cut to size.

as I recall, Robbe does offer a small device to help you cut the
ends of the tube to fit the dogbones.

No suppliers so far have been able to supply a tube 110cm long. The longest is RCMarket at 100cm.

The frustrating part i sthat I am sure these tubes start out long enough for me, I just need someone to not cut one so short.

You may have to look outside the hobby line for a tube that long. There are tubing manuf on the web that sell 6mm stainless.

I will try a local place that I found on Monday, if that does not work I will use the info that Ron PMed me.

When I get it in the air I will post pictures. The model has a Laser 150 4 stroke conversion with a custom mount from Ramster that is a work or art.

I just bought an uncut stainless tube myself for a Mille 90 from RCMarket

Maybe he has them with your required length as well. Just send him an email and ask for it as it may not be on his website.
