Safety - RC Helis are not toys > Pre-flight Checklist

When I fly full size aircraft we always go through a checklist to ensure that everything is good to go before a flight.

Model helis can be dangerous. What checks can we do to ensure pilot, aircraft and spectator alike can enjoy the hobby?

Does anyone have an easy-to-remember checklist mnemonic that they can share so we can prevent accidents, not talk about them?

With all of the things that "could" go wrong, There is not really a mnemonic for it. I think it would probably look like.....
R-radio
B-batteries
B-blades
H-head
L-links
M-motor/clutch
B-belt
B-boom
T-tail
S-servos

RBBHLMBBTS...Doesn't really work.
I just always check everything the night before in case there is a problem. Inevitably, you will overlook something or miss something. The best you can do, for all practical purposes, is to keep your bird in good condition ALWAYS! Maintainence regularly and NEVER use repaired or worn out parts. Always practice good safety at the field.

Where's that EASY button?

EASY BUTTON - Any full size chopper pilots who also fly models out there? I'm sure they'd have one.
