| I think the complete frame in carbon was 160bucks,,,plus probably another 20 for misc elevator linkage and another 10 for those little expensive cool looking washers you will need... HHI was fair about the cracking incident with me and split the cost of the carbon set... They had seen metal frames crack before on these machines, just not in the location I was experiencing it... The pro model originally had upper frames like the carbon fiber kit.. and those cracked and they knew about that one... So the fix was to Use Learner style upper frames and no more crack... except for me... And did I go thru some frames at my house.. I have a stack of cracked ones laying around.. and even had one welded locally in our machine shop on base (and these guys know how to weld...) broke that one too... So by now you have seen my beef up plates.. and they are working fine... but this winter I am going to tear the machine completely and install my new frames I have collecting dust.... I am afterall wayyy out of the crashing stage that all beginners go thru....
??? Does your quick have metal or G10 side frames?? I understand after my episode.. they were convinced to lose the metal and switch to G-10??? I dont know...? thanks for the comment about the site... I wasnt bashing anyone on it.. just a view from the outside looking in..
