Hello

Many of the upgrade CNC-machined aluminium swashplates are using so called "pre-loading screws". Can anyone tell me what does it do and how? I know that every bearing has a certain amount of play, but how to remove that unwanted play with simply just turning screws?!?!? Where those screws affect?, how the screws remove the play??

I believe it is as simple as the screws are putting a load on the
bearing external cage, hence by carefully tighning the screws one
can remove any play the bearing might have.
