Well i have a problem i cant figure out. I am using the plastic realflight controller. It is doing strange things like when i add throttle/pitch it also adds in some aileron (left) also.........and when i use right rudder it gives me back elevator also.......the channels are almost like they are mixing with each other??? and i must say it makes flying very hard to do....... and im frustrated.....has anyone ever had this problem??? I have recalibrated the controlled a million times.......nothing seems to work?? any suggestions??? thanks Wes

You don't need to "Calibrate Controller" you need to "Edit Radio"

I think you may need to go into controler calibrate and then into advance setup and make sure all the settings are correct. I use a interface but it might be the same with the other controller. You can make sure that each channel responds to a certain gimbal movement. I believe channel 6 on mine is pitch don't forget to check and make sure it isn't mixing with ailerons.

When i go to advanced setup and look at say the rudder channel movement it moves fine when the rudder stick is moved left to right. Then if you leave it on the rudder channel and dont touch the rudder but instead move the ailerons you can see the rudder changing approx. 40% either direction. Same thing holds true when you select throttle.........throttle seems to be fine till you move the right stick.......throttle changes by 30% + or - ...................... all the channels seem to do this.........like they are all mixed together........... any more suggestions??? just like when i try to fly a plank on it........start to lift off with elevator only and next thing ya know you got a knife edge going......... then its almost like you can fly 3d with no experience...(only it doesnt last long)

I'm not sure then, Call the tech line in Champaign. They should probably be able to get you up and flying. 217-398-8970

i was just wondering if you by any chance tried uninstalling the g2 program and re installing it yet. I had a problem of the sort and thats what i did and the problem went away. It's only a few minutes worth of work but it might pay off in the long run. I know the frustration you are going threw...... I fly my heli rain or shine, snow or sleet everyday of the week since i just broke my back a year ago and I have lots of time on my hands. If it was me I think i sure would give the uninstall and reinstall a go and see if it just stored a curupt file while it was loading it. So as i was saying with lots of time on my hands, i try to fly atleest everyday and in the mornings i practice for a few hours and late in the evenings I practice on the sim for a few hours. I had been practicing inverted hover on the sim yesterday and today i went right out and flew inverted low to the ground today I't was like I had been doing it all my life instead of only 1 month. I sure hope the rest of you in this hobby aren't as bad as me. I bought 3 Kyosho Nexus 30's and i had no one around to teach me so it has been a reall learning project,(crash and learn) well since my first crash from trying to do a loop and not knowing better and givving it full collective and bogging the motor down untill it dropted out of the sky. I learned it takes to long to have to keep reordering parts and waiting for them so I stock up large now just incase, well pluss I have a few friends around that have nexus's and they come to me for parts. Althgough G2 is a bit undisieving, no matter what you do to edit a heli you can just never get it to fly like your own, shoot G2 will let you have as much pitch and power rather then being reallistic. allot of the things you can get by with on G2 would actually kill your fancy little bird in real life. Well I am not trying to knock it because i use it everyday and it keeps my thumbs smart and thats all that really matters well that and having fun.

I have the same problem. If I dont touch the controls during calibration they move by themselves..

G-2 Problem?

I was having some of that as well. I down loaded a file (recording from a friend) and put it in the wrong place, RF wouldn't work at all so I had to uninstall and reinstall.
Then start from scatch, I was trying everything to recallibrate the TX (I'm using interface)--no joy, until I noticed that I had Futaba selected in the radio type--oops! I'm using JR.
When I fixed that everything is back to normal. The controls were all mixed together like yours until I changed the radio type. Maybe check to be sure you have the proper controller selected? I still get "twitching" in the sticks-I have the view radio on so I see the stick movements. Other than that --don't know. ----------BladeRunner.
