Beginners Corner > Shuttle problems

I have a shuttle that i am having some trouble with. When i slow down or hover the tail will swing back and forth. Why dose it do this?

Tell us a little more about your heli,radio,gyro.....
It kind of sounds like a gyro or mixing problem.

Sounds like your Gyro gain is set to high or you have vibration at low speed that is causeing the gyro to cause the tail to wage.

YES!!!

I think that's what's going on with my shuttle also...

I had some vibration with the training gear on, and I have since taken them off...but now I notice the tail "twitching" left and right during hover...it doesn't seem to have any negative effect on my hovering, but I know i need to get down to the root of the problem...

thanks for the tip...it makes sense that a vibration is causing the gyro to twitch the tail....i balanced the blades with 2 glasses of water...i'll go out and buy a ksj blade balancer and try to get them really balanced...

Engine Run Problems

If your engine is not running real good... it can also cause the problem you are having. just as a FYI if it is going into and out of 2cycle run it will cause this problem.
