Good going Angelos.

Thanks for sharing, I'll see if I can get my head round it and let you know. I must admit, not being an 'engineer' or cad person, the excellon G code third dimension layer reminded me of a film with aliens in it

Thnaks again, I'll keep you updated but thats a pretty fine machine you got there

Pic looks good, Ive tried that but couldnt figure out how to get it to look more flat than curved, the stitch program does specify strip or panorama which I thought would correct it.

This one worked on the ground but thats a flat pivot.
HERE
(too wide to display)

Not sure how to get it from the air pointing downward.

Let me know if you figure out the logic behind that in the stitching, I havent been back for another attempt and just did it turning the heli which came out much the same, which does look good but itd be cool if it was flat not fisheye.

Yea it is a beautiful day, but to smoggy to shoot anything other than verticals, here is one of the office that I shot this am.

John this new 30 size mount rips it up. I couldn't be happier with it. Great work & thanks!

Julian,
the plow shots have awesome texture...

here are a few from a fun fly in OR last weekend:

This is the second time I have been to this field and after taking this pic I said, "damn, I didn't know there was a lake over there".

Once again I said, "damn, I didn't know there was a river beyond the hops fence".

Vanity

jamthomas,
It was a pleasure meeting you. Sorry I was pre-occupied with the Fury during our conversation. You should have seen me spank the ground on Saturday during the 3D Freestyle contest.

Cheers,
Jeff

Jeff, I had a great time on Friday.
I know how it is when your trying to reassemble your machine and I thought you were very gracious. It was a thrill to meet you after admiring your images for so long. Your Fury is very cool and I hope to have one myself someday.
I had no idea that the Willamette was over there or that gravel pit. Wow!
My buddy, Terry, was there on Saturday and saw you go into the hops again. Terry said you were having a very aggressive flight until the accident. I told Terry that you appeared to have issues while flying over those hop wires, lol.
I hope to see you again next year, this is what the hobby is all about.

Here is the link to that camera I was telling you about. I noticed the 5 megapix, coolpix is reasonable also.

Thanks Guys,

It's nice to do some stuff near to the ground on occasions. Here's an interesting one at the opposite extreme - my highest yet. I was asked to recreate this shot that was taken from an old warbird in the 1930s. The manor house at the top of the photo was damaged in the war and the remains taxed out of existence.

Here's what I got of what stands there now....

This was taken with total concentration on the downlink and aftewards I had to look all over the sky to find the dot representing my little heli before descending it back into plain view - awesome ride.

Cheers!
