Nice work!

I like the way the peak in the background draws you in.
On the first shot I also like the ridgeline following the roofline.

Cheers,
Jeff

That house just doesn't look right without some hitching posts and a bunch of lathered horses puffing and panting out front

architoture, what was the location of those pictures? Looks a little like Tulsa, OK and I was at a Green Development conference over the winter and there was a group there from Tulsa that had a building that looked identical to that one, that is why I'm asking.

Thanks
Denny

Beautiful shots! You guys out west have great subject matter. Im still trying to figure out how to show the beauty of middle Georgia. Maybe shoot some swamps or something.

Really? I'd like to see that building. This one is in Tampa, FL right north of downtown. Not the same building you saw, however it will be a green building. LEED gold is what we are shooting for.

Wow, what a gorgeous place to live! Looks like it could have been done with a mast though? Just curious, is this all paid work? Or just portfolio-building?

Cheers

"Looks like it could have been done with a mast though?"
Too many trees in the back for the mast.

Here is the mast shot from the other side.

"Just curious, is this all paid work? Or just portfolio-building?"
This is for Sothebys, but way too fun to be called work.

Cheers,
Jeff

No stitching, but I did harvest 4 images to make one.
A frame for sky, windows, highlights, and lighting the outside fire.

Pano from a development. Also I think the latest amenity for local developments his helipads....no kidding...
I'm not sure how the gigantic moose that I saw cross the river will dig that.

Cheers,
Jeff

i´ve been flying lots of boring stuff, but this one was fun.

Gee Torsten, you set a tough test this time! Waldo couldn't be more than a couple of pixels! Even the VW's roof signage would be too small to see. Any hints?

hmm,

true true,

the T5 is parked in the shade. hard to see even on the full size.

Waldo is 5 pixels wide in the full size picture.

a hint ?

i reduced the distance pilot to heli.

Hmm, I looked over all the roofs and couldn't find Waldo. Is that him about a third of the way up the walkway between the rd and the main hospital building?

Beautiful shot BTW!

I think that since he reduced the distance he should be on some of the roofs but I can't find him...

Torsten are you using binoculars to fly that distance??

Crumbs you were up there!! Don't you worry about local light-aircraft / helicopter activity?

Super shot nevertheless

nope,

no full size.

took the hospital bed and fire rescue lift up to the 19th floor and carried the last staircase to the top.

98 meters come out to 300 somewhat feet agl.

i was a little nervous about the thermal gusts that went around and over the two towers. the housing manager told me that they had mooved the full size helipad a fair distance from the towers because of that.

flight was uneventfull. i have the invitation to come and fly there again with the pano mount on a clear winter day.

but since they will start construction on the large front parking deck i am sure´that: "I`ll be back" for more.
