Hi,

I have mounted my Sceadu in a FunKey Bell 222. Is there an easy way to convert the stock head to 2-blade flybarless head? My plan was to use it with Robbe Helicommand Rigid.

Maybe there is a scale head that will fit the 10mm Sceadu?

you could just remove all the flybar associated parts and run the pc links directly to the blade grips. you would want to get a swashplate driver like that from century too. now all you gotta do is find some blades that were made to use on a flybarless head and you will be good to go. is that robbe thingy a stabilization component. if it is, then maybe the stock blades will work.

Hang your blades on a nail on a wall.

If they lead more than 1/4" they will probably be too aggressive and either need to be replaced or weighted to be more neutral.

If they are too aggressive, it will shake itself to death on spool up and spool down.

I used to have a picture of a swash follower I made from raptor 50 parts.

I cut the arms down and installed 4 screws in the block to lock it to the mast. Everything seemed to work except the blades were too aggressive and I bailed on the project.

Since then I have learned a lot thanks to my fellow fliers and my Benzin is flying pretty good flybarless.

OF makes blades weighted for multi/flybarless heads. They also sell an excellent rotor head, but it is too wide for a 50 or even a 60 size heli.

Converted my R50 using the stock head and AP2000i w/gyros. Maverikk 600's are working well on it. Haven't looked for scale heads yet. Interested in multi's myself. Get the swash driver too. Looks alot better
