Dan, Irwin is kind enough to send me out another one. Should have it by this weekend. I got it flying with another hub though. Will have it out this weekend.

Irwin, I have done somewhat of an analysis on the different gear ratios. The 83 tooth has wayyy more punch than the 88, and it doesn't bog the motor. In fact I had to dial out the throttle curves when I installed it! I thought I was going to loose the head. The 37 does pack a punch when geared right and has the right exhaust. I look forward to wringing it out.

By the way, I have the pitch set up at +9. -9. Hover at mid stick. I would like to think my headspeed is around 1800. I'm still breaking in the motor, and have about 4 tanks thru it. I'm going to lean it out a little and get some more power out of it without damaging the motor. When I flew it yesterday, I was pumping the collective, It has alot of "pop" without full top stick!

hi, ask: the learn 37 is the same as quick 30 pro ?
I have bought OS .37 new and, now im seeing any heli .30
Im considering the quick .30 pro,
im from argentina, the ship cost is very high, the quick 30 comes in box small with all parts disarmed ? really is better than raptor v2 ?

WELCOME

Just in from flying....it is beautiful here in Pa. but it is cool & brezzy day low 60's..
Took the 530MM Sweetie EP ten using 4s x2 4000mah...I was most impressed be it's up wind performancing.

Any case the OS37's designed for the Super learner using 83 tooth main gear... if you do the numbers the power band of the OS 37 works best with a 83 tooth main gear. However the helicopters design must be alter for proper fit...It's a fantastic motor..there is only one OS..

Please SCRATCHBILDR Chime in on here. He wants too here from you.

Golf time....Bye

Here I am!

The Super Learner 37 Pro is much, much better than the raptor in my opinion. The OS 37 that it is designed for has tremendous power for it's size. The new gearing that it comes with also makes it a great bird to fly.
Everyone has a Raptor. I think everyone SHOULD have a QWW heli. I have 2, and I love them both. Get it! (Super Learner 37 Pro). You won't be sorry. If you have any questions, the guys here, including myself, will be glad to help. And Irwin and his team are ALWAYS there if you need them.

And yes, the heli does come disassembled, and all that carbon is very nicely machined and precision fitted. Very few mods. The new frames (silver carbon) already has the mods for the new gearing. Only alignment is required. Get a QWW heli. It's a work of art.

Flight report update.

Between weather and work, I have not had the time to fly as much as I would have liked. But, So far, I have to say that this has become my favorite heli. It is so predictable and easy to fly. Rolls, flips and loops are getting tighter the more I try. It is still faster than my other helis. Response is great too. I look forward to every weekend to get it in the air. My hats off to Irwin and his team again for the great heli they have designed.

I had some extra 30 size gear laying around from my old Raptor days and decided to put it back to use. I had always wanted to try out a Quick heli but with all the bashing that goes on in the forums I've been hesitant. Thanks to your review i put one on order today.
