Knight Flight,

I'll think you'll find the rubber o-ring sits on top of the washer that sits on the 5-6mm step. This is then inserted up through the clutch bell from below.

ok thanx tn
got one coming in the next couple of days, bin lookin at ur pics, and the only thing i can say that kinda spoils it is the shrink over the paddles it looks like the heavy duty stuff for eletrical purposes, i've got quite a few sets of the t/t 50 ones in blue and red so just wondering if they would be ok they weigh 20gr i think the the blue ones would look well with the blue bling, what u think.

The shrink you see in the pics is what I threw on since I buggered up the shrink that comes in the kit.
The actual shrink in the kit is really thin lightweight material. Be warned it is very easy to blister it - ask me how I know!
The shrink in the pics was all I had lying around at the time. I have since replaced it with some much thinner mylar.

Hi guys,
What I did with my paddle was that I, instead of using original shrink, wrapped around the paddle with black sticker paper and made ends cut at the back edge. Now over than 50 flights, it is still ok and never see any damage.
Try that and see what happen to you guys. It weighs just a little more than 20 grams.
Good luck, hehe!!

Finally maiden it today.

A bit rusty after not flying for two months. Just a question for engine tuning. Running Hyper with the 3D funtech pipe. I am at stock 1.5 turns out on high speed and low speed with the slit of the screw pointing straight up at the carb opening.

The engine seems to be running rich at hover with a bit a tail wag and the engine skipping a bit. The pinch test shows the low speed to be about right to a little rich. However, the back plate is a bit hot. I hate to lean it more. I wonder if I need to get the fan closer to the scroud?

Comments welcomed.

30%, Cool power.

I think I may have found the problem. I took the engine out and saw that one of my fins on the fan is missing??

Now I have to order a new fan. RCHeliworks don't have their parts list up yet. I may have to try MTA. The fan on the kinght 50 has the same parts as the 3D. However, on the MTA page, the pic of the 50's fan fin has an angle on it and the one on my 3D is straight. Can I use the angle one?

I would call Chris up at RcHeliworks. They just got a shipment in so I'm sure there will be some new 3D spare parts.
