I also know Spencer and did see those servos fly in his stratus only about a month or so ago. They did work perfectly fine, and had little time on them as he doesnt come out and fly very often. oh and divot we fly at sun valley fliers club on cave creek.

I'm running 94758's in my Vibe on 6v with no problem...what does that have to do with this.They're rated for 6v.

I wish my thumbs understood heli-theory as well as my mind does...

Well Guys, LMHelis is my friend and hes a real honest guy, i saw those servos and man what a rip off!!, and if Spencer k is really shure that those servos are ONLY ONE GALLON USE(Frase that he uses in his other selling threads) why doesent he show up in this thread and say something, he has read all of my friends PM's and he dosent answer him!

the reason that he uses that saying in other threads is because everything he just sold was from the stratus, and it had very little time on it. and as far as responding to this thread why bother its a flame anyway. he should settle it directly with the person who bought them . im not defending his actions but i will say that those servos worked fine when they were taken out of his helicopter.

Exactly J5coat - this is just a thread to bash Spencer. They should be settling this via PM.

But as a side note, I'm also very familiar with the Stratus that ran these servos...they worked just fine. Sorry Sir, but I'm backing Spencer up on this one.

I have known Spencer for quite a while. I even help him build that stratus when he came to visit me not too long ago. So I know they are basically brand new. I know the heli flew just fine when he had them in it. I myself have sold a few things online and all has been fine except for one incident. I wont mention any names since in has been settled. It was a futaba gyro that was brand new. The guy I sold it to told me he owned the same one and broke it in a crash. Well guess what. After he got mine in didn't work. I say there is no way... it was brand new (still in the box) but since I never tested it I would take it back and send it in to be repaired. So I sent the guy his $ back in good faith and I didn't hear from this guy for over a week. When I finally did get the gyro back it was all scratched up and had dirt inside it. Far from the new condition I sent it in. Turns out that it was the one he originally had crashed and now he was flying my new one. Moral of the story is... Electronics are way too easy to mess up. Both parties involved have about an equal chance at getting screwed on the deal. For me I just wont sell electronics anymore unless the guy is there in person to verify that it works for him or it is sold as is. I will not ever take anything back that I sell electronically do to being burned in the past. I did eventually get my gyro back but I never wanted to become a rental service. As far as those servos of Spencer's go, for the little time he put on them they sure performed great. The was on a 90 size CCPM heli so I don't see why they wouldn't work fine for pretty much any other heli. With CCPM if you have one slow servo your are in trouble. Anyways I do know those servos are very power hungry. I run a set of them on my raptor 50 and had to switch to a lithium setup to get the full power/speed out of them. It also required a heavy switch with thicker wires. A way to tell is by putting a volt meter in parallel and watching for voltage drop when the servos are actuated.

It scares me too that the buyer even mentioned that he already has these same servos. And if his existing servos work fine, then why is he trying to buy the exact same new ones from Spencer? It sounds like a possible "bait and switch" setup to me...similar to what was mentioned above by DaOne. Sounds like a fishy BUYER here...instead of a fishy SELLER!

That doesn't sound good either. If you get them and there's something wrong, send them back, Don't crack 'em open and break them more.

Its amazing what Spencers friends can invent to cover him , but he knows what he did. I send the servos to Airtronics when they send me the invoice whith what the servos have , I will posted . Time will give me the reason.

Invent what? Sounds like your not liking the outcome of your own stupidity? It really wont matter what airtronics finds since you have said yourself that you have cracked them open. Why on earth would you expect someone to take something back that you took upon yourself to attempt to repair? This just verifies my first post on why I don't sell electronics online. Who knows maybe you will just send in your old non working servos just to "show proof" trying to damage Spencer's reputation for sales on here in the future. Who knows what your motives are. I know that those servos worked great last time I saw them and many others that watch him fly will say the same. The poor guy is down on his luck financially and was forced to sell his most prized possession to pay rent. You will notice that just about the whole helicopter was for sale on here and everything was stated it only had about a gallon through it. Everyone else has been happy with there purchases from him. That's not a surprise since it was just as it was advertised.
