This guy posted that he had for sale 3 servos 94758 he posted that this servos were only one gallon of use this means that they were nearly new. I got the servos from this guy when they got to me they look old and one of them move slow and the other two did not have the power they were suposed to have. I Told him what was going on with the servos and he did not wanted to help me in anything he insisted on telling this servos were new when the servos even have a date of 2005. He took my money $220.00 and I had to keep 3 not working servos. This guy is not a good guy he make me a fraud. This kind of guy does not deserve to be here this is for honest people making good business. You are a shame you dont deserve to be here. Everytime your hely crashes think of me because that is justice from heaven. For what you did to me. The only good thing on all of this is that you learn from this things I learne you will learne your to .
If anyone can help me telling me were I can call or write so I can do anything on this feel free to let me know.

Just so you guys know. I also have had an issue on buying something that came broken. You guys know if you paid throught paypal with a CC and not a Check Card you can dispute charges? I did and won and my credit card company went after the seller and got half the money back and i didnt have to return the broken items. PAY WITH CREDIT CARDS there your best defense in a scam! If you get screwed kick them back in the balls and dispute so they know how it feels.

Last week I recieved two New servo's from a company which advertises here on RR, that I will not name, at least not at this time. When I recieved the servo's, one was fctory sealed and the other had the factory seals broken, missing mounting hardware and the plastic case the servo came in was broken and cracked in several places. I am angry that a reputable company would ship me a used and/or returned servo and then ask me to ship it back at my expense so they can verify wether or not they are going to do something about it. I mean, it to six days to recieve it in the first place, now I have to wait another week? ten days? I asked them to ship me a replacement servo right away to minimize my inconvenience but they refused.

Use CC

Pay with Paypal, but fund it with credit card or check card. i had a simaliar case with user name Crasher Tn. Paypal sucks, they said once the package is shipped, they can't do anything. my c.c. campany is getting my money back.
Good luck in getting your money back.

Would have never brought some thing of high value from a person that's not on the Good Guy's list in the first place.

Sorry to hear what happened.

Ask David Yates...you guys may have read about myself, QuickSilver and several others...

Fortunately I used USPS Money Order and USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Conformation and QuickSilver used Ceritifed Bank Check...we sent Paper Work to local authorities and Bank and Post Officer Post Master...within 4 weeks...out stuff was made right...amazing what JAIL can do.

However...If there was ONE SINGLE PAY METHOD that worked...don't you think we would have heard of it by now...also; I've seen guys on here...after YEARS of GG list ratings just go off the deep end...who knows???

One thing I have noticed within the past couple months (year or less); we've got a bunch of newbies (NOT SLAMMING ANY OF THE NEW GUYS...JUST READ ON) and some of the New Guys are really the OLD @*+%@#!! crooks that have just using a different IP and E-MAIL address.

Just keep all of your paper work and if you feel a little cautious on a deal!!!!

Hey, Ask us here about whom ever you have a question about! Sometimes it really does work!

Like Mark has said; we can Police ourselves if we all look out and report here on this forum, when we encounter something "FISHY" (nothing against "fish"...just all I could come up with...LOL

Just my thoughts too...

I tell ya fellas....I have been a member here for a little less then 2 years and I hope this doesn't come back to bite me in the a$$ in the future by what I'm about to say. I feel more safe buying and selling here then I do over on peebay. No...you read it right Here are my reasons...MOST everyone here is trustworthy, we have alot of contact with most of the regulars here and through talking to most of the guys here you can get to know someone pretty well, half the time if you buy something here it came from another RR member so they can vouch for the person or the item, and most guys here watch out for our fellow RR pilots and take care of each other. I know there are some bad elements here but the honest guys keep a close watch so that it's getting harder to be bent over.

As far as peebay goes...you never have heard of or talked to the seller in most cases so your putting your trust in peebay and the seller for that matter. And you have no idea what condition the item REALLY is in....you have to take there word for it and hope the pictures aren't from an old auction or from one of our galleries.

I hate to see people get ripped off... it's unfare to say the least and it's very hard to get anything done after the fact. Here in the past couple weeks I have read about alot of scams going on and I just have to say thanks to everyone that has pointed it out to the members here. It may not stop this kind of thing from going on but at least we can take care of our own.

all of this must be some kind of misunderstanding. i know spencer and he is a stand up guy. if these servos are the ones that were in his stratus, well, they flew perfect for him.

It is also possible that they DO only have one gallon on them. Here's why. A buddy of mine got these same servos becaiuse they were supposed to be so great. I believe they were rated at .06 speed. When he got them and hooked them up we weren't real impressed. We hooked them up with a Y connector to single channel and put a 9252 (.13 speed) on the other end of the Y. The airtronics was supposed to be twice as fast. It was visibly slower, no way it could keep up with the supposed slower servo, with no load. I don't know if airtronics gets their specs under special conditions or something, but IMO they are misleading.

Dont give your word for a guy that you dont know what he did, any person who knows that servos with a gallon of use dont have the orings tosted and when I open the servos broke because they were old, and have oil inside. I am going to send the servos to Airtronics to be repair wen I receive the invoice I will posted so you can see what he sold me. If I had received what he posted I should be happy and not doing this.

I previously posted this:

People have been scamming since the begining of the internet.
I think if you follow some simple rules you will cut your chances of being scammed. Scams in the helicopter comunity are everywere. Just ask any of the vendors on RR.
Some even have a crooks page like Ricks does. Take time to read some of the stories on his site. You will be amazed.

Here are a few tips from the Ricks site:
If you find a model on the internet, and you think you might want to buy it, be very cautious.
Ask for a lot of good close-up RECENT pictures. Don't accept a picture that doesn't show details.
Know the seller. Do a search for his name on the internet. Try www.deja.com or Google, and the mailing list archives.
If he gives references, check them out. Remember, anyone can put anything on the internet...that doesn't make it so.
Agree on payment terms and what will happen if you aren't satisfied. Basically be prepared to keep whatever is sent. http://www.rcheli.com/crook_stories.htm

I had a great deal with Spencer! I bought a new C-spec offf of him a couple weeks ago. He answered all pm's in a timely manner and shipped when he said he would. I hope this is a misunderstanding.

Thanks
