I finally have my Hirobo CH-46. At least I have most of it, a big thanks to Jeff Green for helping me get the mechanics so I can start the build. The post office would not ship the original box to Iraq due to the size. Jeff was kind enough to re-pack the mechanics and send them.

I'd also like to thank Joel from Helitronix for helping me with the lights, they will look great when the model is complete.

I can't forget Ashley, thank you, I am sure I will have more questions for you soon.

The hirobo chinook is a really nice machine. I am continually fascinated by it.

I started a thread with advice on how to tune it here on RunRyder so if you find some useful tricks in your build, then please share them with the rest of us.

since i cannot afford the fuse for the 46, i am going to painstakingly build one using balsa and monokote, using a 46.cc chainsaw eng. make my own head and blades also! oh yeh i wanna see pics also!

Here's the update, I have done everything I can for now. I double and triple check things now as I am only waiting for fuel. Fuel will be on the way soon. Some things I have done are temporary until I can get home and make things permanent as far as mounting and such.

Here are some pics, from 7 hours into the build until currently how it sits. I had to stop a few times waiting for things, servo tape, servo extensions.

Yes, Jeff Green has been very friendly and helpful during this build.
