If Dunedinflyer has scammed someone...he's f***ing scum...a waste of carbon in my opinion.

Seems this type of people are becoming more prevalent on RunRyder... not as safe a place to buy as it used to be.

Heed the warning signs, do lots of searching for the seller's user name to find these types of warning posts and use your brain's 6th sense before buying from someone you don't know.

Ask yourself, is the potential savings buying from an unknown person (vs a reputable hobby store online or brick and mortar) worth the risk...especially if warning signs are present?

Trying to save a couple bucks can be an expensive/risky endeavor.

I like coming here and all and have been here around 2-3 years now but have also have seen this kinda thing progress time and time again

And now I see good deals that I would jump on like a Trex or Raptor 90SE but don't what to take the gamble

I do buy off of here now & then and so far it has been all good But then again I have not spent 1000-1500 here yet! Just 0-200 so far!! I hope things will get better for all of us.

its a buyer beware type thing, (not saying its right folks are screin buyers though) BUT if you cant a vibe...trust your gut, I've walked away from some really good deals just cause it didnt feel right.

then if you do decied to take the plung, protect yourself. PP wont do squat for ya...SO use a credit card through PP and they will (in the eventuality that you do get burned) I've been burned twice, the two deals I got smoked on wernt that the stuff never got sent, rather the stuff was grossly misrepresented....when the sellers didnt want to make it right, I did a charge back on em, got my money back (and locked up their PP account) and shipped the crap back to them (on their dime, there is a little box on the waybills that you can bill the shipping to the reciever...)

I try to be positve in this world, I thought maybe he got sick? but when I saw him buying and selling again, I just couldn't understand.
It was only half of the old Schluter stuff I paid for that he didn't send. And yes, he is on the good guy list????????
I think at this point, I'll just take my lost, and certainly didn't mean to get anyone upset.

There is escrow.com or the sort... but they cahrge min $49 so if for full heli lot of money maybe... otherwise best judgement.

Don't use anything other than escrow.com, especially if the seller "knows a really good and cheap escrow site" (those words guarantee that you'll be scammed).

Back before PayPal, I used Escrow.com a LOT.

If you feel you have been screwed the go to the good guys list and post your BAD experience....it will help save someone else from getting screwed in the future...RR friends need to be aware of these deals...he will do it again ...that's a certainty !!
