I have been fighting this for a couple hours now, can anyone help. I have the plug in the gear channel, I set the gear channel to gyro but cant make sense of anything from there on. Can anyone give me a quick tutorial in getting this thing working???

If you have to fight a 611 the rest of us are screwed.

It's actually about 5 minutes worth of work.

What do you have experience with in the way of gyros?

Well, I was able to set it up on my 9c in 5 minutes, This is my first JR programming I ever done and I think that is what is getting me. Any chance you could give step by step or near step

to get me going? I was able to figure out the GV1 so I am not a total idiot, I must just be missing something obvious.

forget the GYRO screen if you're using it.

it's really simplest to just use the GEAR ATVs to control mode and
gain.

RUD ATV controls piro rate.

you're looking to get 36-37 on the GY611 box screen for gain in A mode.

Why would you wanna not use Gyro control,if it's there?

Plug remote gain to Gear ch. or Aux2.Depending on which do you use ,set up same channel for GYRO (gear or Aux2),go to gyro screen and set it up.
Value of 50 is equal to 0 (no gain) in 9c,from 50 up is HH and down is nonHH.If you got your 601 setup for CMT ,then just raise the number in Gyrao menue ,untill your 601 shows about 36-37 and you're all set.Only thing you use ATV for is to bring down the piro speed.Use ch4 ATV to lower piro speed if it's to fast for you.
