When I view Virtual flight instruction videos, I get double echo audio that makes it impossible to understand what the instructor is saying-my pc is a high speed system with much more than minimum requirements. Anyone know of a fix for this? thanx.

Audio Problems

As always recommended...
Update ALL your drivers especially your video driver and check the audio program that came with your puter for any echo/reverb type settings. IE: turn off all the fancy stuff.
The first place to look is "Windows Update" they usually have hardware driver updates that are hardware specific.
Most of the time when you load the software it gives you a message "This software is NOT Windows certified. If the audio software came pre-installed you wouldn't have seen that.

If it only happens during the Virtual instruction it may be, a problem with G3.5, or the installation of, on your puter. If you’re registered they do have tech support. In the past they've told me, for a different problem, to simply re-install the G3.5 program.
I've found it's not nearly as stable as 2.0

xqzme- I am using registered software and downloaded 3.5 as an upgrade to 3.0 - I will give the reload a try-thanx

Let me know how that turned out

I had some issues with the "Add Ons" I had 1 thru 5 for G2
Then bought G3 and did the same thing you did... upgraded to G3.5
Hey... it was free!
Even have The Expansion pack 1 for G3.5

I've since sold one of my planks to a friend and gave him the G2 system to learn how to fly before.. well you get the picture.
I miss G2 it was so simple to download planes and choppers from the net along with their color schemes.
G3 is a pain in the keister in that department.

There is a group called "Computer Flight Simulators"
this has nothing to do with the Ikarus Piccolo-Eco 8/16.

Maybe we can fix this...
Since I doubt Great Planes will EVER include the Ikarus into their vast array of included profiles in G3.5
BTW - I hope your enjoying your ECO8

Or at least planning to buy an ECO8?

Notice I've mentioned both Ikarus and ECO 6 times in this post
I hope this will that make up for our gross neglegence?

XQZBE - I downloaded the 3.5 again and still have the same audio echo problen. I also tried recommended checks shown on g3 website regarding drivers,etc and detected no problems - I think I just have a piece of junk in the g3- I haven't found any postings in the simulator group postings or the faq's on g3 website that reflect the same problem - I do have the ECO8 -have a nice day

Hummmmm...
The only thing I can suggest at this point is go to the "Computer Flight Simulator" portion of our site, as Mr. KNOL had suggested, and hope someone there has had a similar experience.

I'll assume you didn't have this problem when you installed G3.0 originally? That way you've at least narrowed it down to the G3.5 uprade itself.

Congrat's on the ECO
I'm very close to getting mine flying, I've been taking all the suggestions I've found on line to do the CF and swash plate upgrades to, hopefully, make it a fly like it was intended.
