looking at an ECO-8 Royal,...reason why, I have a spare motor

Originally, I purchased a hacker A30-8XL for use in my Logo, since, I've upgraded to a Medusa motor.

My intention for the ECO-8 would be to run a 4S pack, the Hacker motor, and a CC Phoenix 45ESC,

Does this sound like a good set-up? Or should I find something else to put the motor in (a plank or something?)

Thanks!
Wayne

I am getting a Royal if they are ever released. They say the end of the month.

You could also have a look at the laheli sniper. it is the same size as the eco8 and already available. It is not cheap, but high quality, all carbon an alu parts.

I have been using your setup on the eco8 and is a pretty powerfull setup. now i will be running it on the laheli sniper. see my gallery for pics.

CC Phoenix 45ESC
Volts w/BEC 12.6 MAX
Volts NO BEC 19.2 MAX
Lipo Cells w/BEC 3S MAX
Lipo Cells NO BEC 4S MAX

so if you plan on using an 4S setup make sure you have an external bec because the BEC can't handle 14.8 volts!
