e-Electric General Discussion > Micro electric helicopter pilots - sound off!

I'm interested in a micro electric helicopter like the Piccolo, Hornet, HouseFly, Gnat, Moth, etc. What would be the best one for me to buy? I really like the idea of having collective pitch control. I have experience with a GMP Cricket, and am not too hip on trying the fixed pitch models again (unless someone can convince me otherwise..). From what I've seen of the CP Hornet, it looks fairly stable and agile. How much of a bear are they to fly upside down?? Is shooting autos with them a novel, hope I can pull this off trick, or something more forgiving? What is the repair cost of an "average" crash? Can they be flown outdoors if it is calm? How much more difficult are they to fly as compared with a 30 sized gas machine?

I have a Kalt Whisper. I'm looking for something a bit smaller (or alot smaller) and something aerobatic. I'd like to fly it inverted.

I am not new to RC choppers so don't hold back with technical info.

Any comments are appreciated!
