Guys I have a JR9303 and wanted to know more about the DX7. None of the guys in my club have this radio. Can u tell me the advantage/disadvantage of the two radios? If u guys recommend it then I'll get one. Thanks!

I went from a 9303 to the DX7. The only thing I had in my 9303 that the DX7 doesnt have is the large screen and the scrolling wheel. If you are a guy that only needs 7 channels or less - the DX7 will work great for you. Besides the advantages of going to 2.4Ghz, the DX7 has an amazing connected feeling to your models - it is hard to describe without trying it. You are really connected to the heli.

I would say go for it, but thats just me

Somebody correct me if i'm wrong, but I thought that the DX7 was closer to the 8103 than the 9303.

At my current skill level I cannot tell too much of a difference between the 8103 and the 9303, but I like the delay on the throttle after hitting the throttle hold, and all the servo speed adjustmets can make a real difference on scale birds. Those are two things that come to mind right away that are different between the 9303 and the 8103.

True, but it's even closer to the 7202.

DX-7 and 8103...

They patterned the menu system and the programming after the 8103. However, not having a DX-7 yet I can't tell how close it is to the 8103. I do know that there are a few less switches on the DX-7 than the 8103 has. I'll have a better feel for the radio in about 2 to 3 weeks. I'm going to take the plunge and go for one. I really want to see if they are as good as they say they are and if the build quality is there. Hope I'm not disappointed.

Later...

Scott!

I just got the DX7. Very well worth the money. When the DX9 comes out, I will sell the 7 and get the 9. So far, the 7 is fantastic and I dont really miss my 9303.

Sold our 9303 to go to the DX7 as well.

The 9303 definitely has a larger screen and the buttons and scroll roller makes it a lot easier to program.

I find the DX7 is at times awkward because of the logic of the buttoms and smaller screen, since it is based on the 7202.

The 9303 is much better contructed case being made in Japan.

But.....The DX7 beats it for the technology it gives you. The feel is so connected and now I can say bye-bye to the frequency board.

I don't miss the 9303 at all. Now if the 9303 had the 2.4ghz technology, that would be a different story.
