PP won't help, since item was delivered, but not as described and that PP doesn't cover.I think you made first mistake.when you ordered couple hundred $$ worth a parts, before you inspected heli.
I'd say just tell the guy how much you want refunded for missing parts.Actually you should've done that before coming out public. That way you'd have at least some leverage ,now it's totaly up to him,how is he gonna handle it.2-3 days is not that long. Some people don't live on RR like most of us
You said he had a good feedback here,so I beleive he'll make up for misunderstanding.I alway look for good in people, first.

Good luck.

Buyer beware?

Hey ant_mb and the rest of you guy’s I would just like to take time and make thing right. 1st ant_mb I responded to all of your PM except 4 the last 2 because I was working and even on the last PM that you sent me I told you that I was at work and when I get home I will check on the parts.2nd In my add that I post I said that it would cost around $75-$100 or so to finish the build. Now as for you ordering $300 in extra parts that’s not only a problem for you but also for me due to the fact that you could have brought a kit. Also even while we was pm ing each other I was still finding Items . I also mention that this 90 was being created out of the spare parts that I had and even took pictures so all can see what I had. Now for the upgrades that I was going to sell to you .You told me that those upgrades was in the picture and in fact that they was blue and was to be included in the deal. I informed you that they were not blue but silver in which in return you apologize to me for your mistake. I also pm you pic’s of the 90se that I sold on RR which was stored on my cpu as a joke since you was so sure that the parts was blue. The clutch was for a 50 and the skids I still have in my possession which I will mail to you. I’m not in the business of ripping people of and I just would like to make thing right. Everyone I delt with hear on RR was please with my business. O 1 more thing I’m actually supposed to be at this super bowl party but I figure I needed to at least post a reply to your post. I will Pm you tomarrow so we can smooth things over.

The picture had blue upgrades in it. I apoliggies begaure you said theat the upgrades you were trying to sell were silver and insured me that everything that was in the pic was shipped. When i got the package no parts. Every pm i got was I'll check, but once agan its when you get home you will check. People have said you might be a scammer, but I said that has yet to be determined. I posted out of frustration to see what others thought and if i read the ad correctly.

Thanks
Anthony

After adding the torque tube to the list it brings the grand total missing to $235 or so. I was expecting a few parts to be missing(even though you stated all were there) so if you pay half I will call it even. Let's say $120.

Thanks

Im guessing this offer is not acceptiable to you? You have answered pm, and read the pm with the offer but haven't replied. Am I asking too much that you pay half of your mistake?

Thanks

From the original ad:

Here’s what’s needed to finish the build.

1.PVO147 TAIL CASE((I HAVE THIS NEW IN THE PACKAGE))
2.PVO155 PITCH GUIDE
3.PVO157 REAR FRAME SET
4.PVO310 FUEL TANK
5.PVO412 FAN CASING
6.PVO413 SERVO FRAME
7.Engine Mount
This is the list of things that would be needed to finish the build which you can see it’s not much at all. The cost would be about $75-$100 to be done. I’m asking $500.00 OBO shipped. Guy’s listen the metal grips, main rotor head and the upper and lower side frame would cost you at least $450 to buy from heliproz.PM if you have any question.

Does that mean that the metal grips, head, u/l frames are included ?

I'm a little misled by the ad as well.

... But honey it was only $$$

Yes it was included. It stated what was needed to complete the kit. When I received it it needed about $235 ontop of what was stated in the ad.

Thanks

I've tried it before with PayPal and it can help.

It can also do nothing, too, but if you do nothing, then expect nothing.

I refuse to go to paypal for help! This about a mans word! He has said he will make it right so we will see. If his word is worth being sold out for $120 dollars then he needs it worse than I do. I don't need the money to finish this model, but it's the fact that it was advertised as missing X-amount of parts and would up being a lot more. We will see how he responds.

Thanks

I am personal friends with TONELEX, we fly together and I am telling all of you right now that he is NOT a scammer. He is very busy as he is a real estate investor and does not have a lot of time on his hands. I guarantee that he is not a scammer and you should give him a chance to make it right. He was trying to be clear and honest he was in no way trying to mislead you. Maybe he might have over looked some things but his intentions are good. He is a stand up guy and anyone who knows him knows he keeps his word and does not mistreat people. I will call him to see whats going on. Give it time I promise!

Communication is the key with all deals. I will give someone all the time in the world if you communicate with me. If you read a PM then communicat back if it is important. If you read then post a quick responce. I have said from the beginning that I didn't think he was a scammer, but it was misleading. I am pissed about the missing picture though!

Thanks

I agree, I have a deal going for R60 off another forum. The guy emailed me 10 times a day until he got the money, I have emailed 2 days in a row now and still no reply. I called and left a message on his machine this morning. Comunication is everything, especially if you are from a different state.

I promise!

Sounds like your intention is to back this guy up. Should Anthony be checking with you from now on? How about the payment for the parts he never received? Will your promise include financial backing as well?

There are a few guys here that I would back up with a promise of financial backing and Anthony is one of them. Is this guy that good of a friend?

Put your money where your mouth is!

From what your saying you don't need to help. Don was stating a fact, he knows that if I make a deal I will stick to it. If I say item is in this condition, then I guarentee taht it will arrive in that condition. If it doesn't I make it right. I don't wait a week to see if it will go away. The facts still stand, that the picture with the upgrades vanished(I let this go), the heli arrived not as advertised, and the guy has read my pm and didn't answer. I appreciate you trying to help, but don't. I even offered to pay half of the replacement costs to get the parts. Most guys would have said F-that. I am not a unreasoniable person. I expected to have a couple parts here or there missing, but not this many. It took me 10 minutes of looking at the manual to figure out that this stuff was missing. Does a seller not have the obligation to the buyer to do this?

ps
Thanks for being there Don.

Thanks

The seller has that obligation.

Both the seller and buyer have the mutual obligation to communicate promptly with one another while a deal is in progress. It's common courtesy and it's a good business practice, and it's not unreasonable to expect it even on an RC transaction, even if your RE biz is booming.

Not going to argue with the whoever's and make it personal. I was just trying to ease your fear of a bad outcome. I will not take these personal attacks to heart.

I am on the good guy list and have had no altercations on this site. My posting was to help out with your mishap. Notice I said I would call him. However.... your ignorance is somewhat disturbing and you guys are directing your anger at the wrong person.

I made no personal attacks in my original post, I did read the entire post before I posted. Clearly he miscommunicated according to your original post. Now he is communicating slowly which is not like him.

Dg calling me a moron makes you no better than my use of ass hat.... contribute something useful and dont waste space. My ass post was to convey a point about your FIRST attack at me. Clearly trying to throw a monetary obligation to me in the manner you depicted is not going to get you or ant_mb anywhere. If TONELEX needed some financial assistance from me I would give it to him, but the request would have to come from him and him only. This concerns two people the buyer and seller. I was simply vouching for the seller try to ease your worries.

Now if these condescending posts keep up about me I will simply disappear and you guys will be on your own, he lives near me and I am able to personally contact him. If you want to blow that off so be it....
