It would have been interesting to see the events leading up to that injury, to see how it was allowed to happen. Looks like it was in the U.K.

More like he had his back to the heli! Why no blood? Did anyone see a Tourniquet because that would explain the lack of bleeding.

pretty obviouse he had his back to heli but was he the pilot?, why theres no blood i dont know but it looks like a clean cut.
hell be easy to spot at your field hes probably got an extra pair of sticks

We will never know if this really happend or if a RC Heli blade was involved.... however someone was not paying attention to whatever was happening.

That is deffinatly makeup,

if that was real it owuld cut accross his main vein that runs down the leg and he would not be sitting back , the fact it is not elevated which is a basic first Aid technique with this kind of injury also tells me it is fake artist make up, that kind of wound would be spurting copiouse amounts of blood out with the leg in that position,and he deffinatly would have no colour in his face, the chances are as well he would go into shock and be shaking as that wound penetrates through all layers of skin,it owuld also if it was a real situation be bandaged up to prevent serious bleeding and to aid clotting.

But i have to say nice piece of skill in making it look real.

I bought my mother-in- law a chair for xmas, but she wouldn't plug it in

Now that you mention it, there is NO SIGN OF BLOOD anywhere. If that is really a fresh cut, there would be blood all over his clothes and all over his skin. Not only is there a lack of blood, but it's as dry as beef jerkey! You can actually see where they "added" to his leg in order to make the cut look real. If you look at his face, he looks pretty relaxed. There's no blood on his cut pants. Speaking of pants, they are cut off pretty nicely and straight across the pant leg. If that was cut off due to the urgent nature of his wound, it would have been ripped off like a prom queens dress. Look at his hands...if you received a cut like that, the automatic reation would be to reach down and grasp the wound...his hands are clean! Hmmmm

I saw a 60 size machine chase a guy down and hit him in the upper back/shoulder area years ago. It looked like someone took a huge pair of pliers and just kind of ripped out a big chunk of flesh.

It's been too long to remember the exact details, but I don't remember there being much blood.

I've seen enough accidents with both planes and Heli's to last me at least one lifetime.

wounds like that dont always bleed, his body has probably gone into shock which is why he looks calm. but when his body comes out of shock ill bet that blood starts pouring out and then the pain will set in.

as andyh said why fake it ?
