AMA card missing

Unfortunately, I have recently lost my AMA card and probably not enough time to get another one sent to my house before attending Ircha. However I am not planning to be doing much if any flying anyway, because the only thing I will be bringing is my T-Rex and spectrum radio and I am not sure how much flying I will do with it. Nevertheless, I do intend to register so I wondering if I do the on-line verification and make a copy of it with an old AMA card will that do?

When you drive in to the main gate to go to IRCHA, look to your left and go in and get a new AMA card, that's where they come from. Bobby

I thought that was where it was but was not sure, so I will just wait until I get there and then get another card. I heard Will had a little mishap last week with Justin's Kite, hopefully he is OK and still coming with you. What about Rowdy is he coming with you guys too, when do you plan on arriving?

Registration

TO HELP SPEED UP REGISTRATION WE HAVE 2 LINES. ONE FOR PRE-REGISTRATIONS AND ONE FOR THOSE REGISTERING ONSITE.

Just a reminder, You MUST have your AMA card whether you are flying or not. So make sure you bring it with you. If you dont have it we will not be able to register you. If you lost your card or dont have it with you, you can stop up at AMA headquarters and get a replacement card

Reminder: To be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE you must be an IRCHA member. We will be accepting IRCHA membership registrations onsite. so sign up a the registration tent.

We are at 427 at the end of the day Wednesday.

OFFICIAL DAY ONE EVENT POST

It is official. Today the IRCHA Jamboree became the LARGEST RC event EVER. Around 1pm we passed the 540th registration. Congrats to Bob White who pushed us over that mark. Bob was 541. for that he gets LIFETIME IRCHA membership and LIFETIME registration for the event.

By the end of the day we have 575 registered participants.

Flying was great, had a little weather this afternoon and more flying after it passed. It looks and sounds as if everyone is having fun.

I just left the field (1100 pm)and there were 5 guys up practicing night flying for that $500 prize.

More prizes showed up throughout the day. the prize trailer is getting full.

Day TWO is gonna be ever better.

At the end of the day, 570 registered pilots. A great inpact for a thursday.

We had a rain fall for 10 minutes. It was 95 degrees today. Very hot and windy.

That's my first time at IRCHA and WOW!!! What's a beautiful place. 18 flights stations. Very nice organisation.

Dear friends of Montreal just let you know that you missed a great show here at IRCHA.

Hats off for IRCHA!

Man it sucks that I couldnt go this year[B]18 flight stations 575 pilots, only 25mins to have a flight station
Thats 32 pilots per flight station times 25mins

Crashes are the only thing you missed

Besides some great flying a lot of vendors and good seminars, the only other thing you really missed was two crashes, one Thursday where a guy crashes into himself and Friday where a demo pilot barely misses a crowd of people but crashes into one guy scrambling on the ground trying to get away. Both however got away with some stitches and a little shaken up but seem ok.
