Congrats Alex. Hey does anyone know who I would talk to about camping questions. BTW all the muncie hotels are booked, so I was wondering about the camping situation. I saw a post about it but would like more information. Thanks

Re the camping situation

Once you arrive at the AMA site it is first come first serve. The rates have increased as AMA now must report to the local health dept on who camps and how many ( from what I understand this includes tent camping also)

Just a little update for everyone

The vendor list is long this year... and we have reached an all time high for the dollar amount of prizes to be given away.
Years past we have seen 12K & 15K this year we have nearly ( and may be slightly over ) $30,000 in prizes for the pilots raffle!!!

If you plan on pre-registering for the jamboree you need to do so before July 25th as we will end pre-registration then to allow us to prepare the pilot packets for the expedited check in. It will be faster for you!

This year promises to be big, but it is not just the size of the event that matters, it is the experience for the attendees. The scope of the set up for this years jamboree has increased and we ask that you respect the time needed to set up. The tent company can not set up some of the tents until Tuesday and until they are complete we will not open the site to anyone except vendors and IRCHA staff.

Looking forward to a great jamboree!
See you there

You will be able to fly else where on the AMA site, just not site 4 until we get set up. Wish it could be earlier, but you must also remember we are all volunteers as well. We have been planning for months, just the way it falls

Where to find info?

Congrats Alex, I have a question, I put my answer in on Tuesday Morning about 5:30am EST, I had the first 2 answers correct but not the third, I still can't find anyplace that has Butch listed as the winner, where would I find that info? I was not at the jamboree last year. Thanks Mark

I'm not a pilot, I'm a crash facilitator!

I'll be attending the Jambo for the first time this year . I have never been in attendance of the jambo before, do any of the big name 3D pilots attend this event ??? I checked on the IRCHA website but did'nt see much of an itinerary listed . I guess i'll be looking for a hotel room somewhere close . Can anyone give me some info on a nice place to stay within a half hour of the Jambo ???

Learn to 3D or die trying !!!!

I don't want to speak for anyone else, but it is safe to say that you will see some of the biggest names in the hobby in attendance this year.

Look up about 2 posts and you will see what may be some of the last rooms to be had!
