| I think you still spent way too much money for a starter, but you keep talking down to me, I don't really care.
No one ever said you can be cheap in this hobby.
We aren't talking about a drill that you use once in a while. I use my starter all the time, and charge it on the way to the field every time, whether it really needs it or not. I don't wait until something is dead before I charge it. If I'm going flying, I put everything on charge. If I forget, I have a field charger that will run on the way to the field.
A $78 battery, regardless of chemistry, works just as well in this circumstance, as a $30 set of RC car packs connected to my Torquemaster 180. You just have to keep it charged. Oh, and I have a charger for that already, too. And, I'm not in the market for another drill.
But you be proud of that $250 starter and go forth. I'm buying $250 worth of fuel, instead. |
