On my AR6100 I have the gyro sensor plugged into "gear" and have set the gyro to "gear" in the appropriate menu function. I have set AUX2 to INH. When I try to program the gyro, my only options are AUTO and RUDD. How can I change the switch to GEAR instead of RUDD? I want to leave the the RUDD switch for Throttle cutoff for safety as well as future autos. Thanks in advance for your help.

With the DX7,you can use the gear switch on the upper left ,having set
the input channel to GEAR GEAR first. To adjust the gyro gain change the endpoint values on the gear channel, where one side endpoint will be Normal mode and the other heading hold gain, which is good for most gyro's
(n.b but some JR gyro's work a bit differently to this).

If you want the gain control to follow flight modes you'll need to use AUX2 set to Fmode instead ,but then you can't use that channel anymore for flight mode governor control (assuming it's for glow).
