| Your low-end needle is too lean...
When you hear your engine "hang" before dropping to an idle, you can almost be sure it is too lean.
You can use the "pinch test" to check it...
With the engine idling, pinch the line right below the fuel inlet...
count how many seconds it takes before you hear your engine start to speed up. When you are close to the right setting, it should take 3-5 seconds before it speeds up. If it speeds up or dies immediately, you are too lean...If it takes longer than 5 seconds you are too rich.
Another cause of your engine "hanging" if the mixture is right can be from an auto slipper clutch being too tight... I had that problem a couple years ago with an Ergo60.
Hope this helps,
