I have an OS 61 SX-H WC installed in my Vigor with a Zimmerman muffler. I run on 15% Coolpower with a fitted header tank. The engine runs great and mixture seems fine until I hit the throttle hold, (or move the throttle straight to idle). When it drops to idle, the engine spools down and the throttle arm goes straight to the correct point, however the engine waits for about 1 to 2 seconds before dropping all the way to idle. It is almost like a little rev up for about 1-2 seconds before settling properly at idle. The engine will sit at idle happily for as long as necessary. I am not over familiar with OS engines yet so any advice would be welcome. I am hoping it is just a mixture tweak somewhere.

Any help would be welcomed!

Regards

That's a common problem if your engine is running too lean. Try to richen the main needle a couple of clicks.
You can also try to richen the idle needle. This needle is very sensitive, so make small adjustments.

Your low-end needle is too lean...
When you hear your engine "hang" before dropping to an idle, you can almost be sure it is too lean.
You can use the "pinch test" to check it...

With the engine idling, pinch the line right below the fuel inlet...
count how many seconds it takes before you hear your engine start to speed up. When you are close to the right setting, it should take 3-5 seconds before it speeds up. If it speeds up or dies immediately, you are too lean...If it takes longer than 5 seconds you are too rich.

Another cause of your engine "hanging" if the mixture is right can be from an auto slipper clutch being too tight... I had that problem a couple years ago with an Ergo60.

Hope this helps,
