Christian...

Volker's brother, flew three excellent and spectacular
flights at the Jetpower meet, to great applause from the many thousands present.

Michael,

what is the turbine used ?
Why does it have such a huge landing gear (if per the picture on Volker's web site)? Can the Coaxial type one be used ?
How is the management of the two swashplates - electronically mixed ?
Thanks

The kamax has a high profile fuse, this is done to place the mechanics in scale height and proper 3d locale for the future
fuselage..i.e., the flying is the same, just with a fuse added...

The Flettner rotors need the lateral clearance...yes, you can use
the other landing gear if you like...
An english mixer is used.

best,

m

The Flettner (kmax)

...has now flown at 28 kg take off weight lifting, and flies
perfectly...just like the big brother..the dual worm gear
oil bath transmissions and multimixer performed flawlessly...

Video and pics before long...
