I just purchased a transitter case for my DX6 only to find that it doesn't fit very well, do to the antenna. It is my understanding that the DX7 antenna will bend 90 degrees and also rotates 180 degrees. I've taken my antena off my DX6 and found that the "antenna" is nothing more than a plastic sleeve that covers up the actual wire antenna.

My first question is will the DX7 antenna fit on the DX6? My second question is where can I get the antenna?

If you look closely at your DX6 antenna you'll see it has a small notch/groove in the lower/outer section and the upper/inner section has a protrusion that fits in that slot to prevent it from pivoting - You can pull the antenna sections apart a bit and file off the protrusion and the antenna will pivot any way you like - You may have to open the case and loosen the screw that holds the antenna on to allow the two sections to come apart - I did this to my own DX6 - The DX7 Antenna should work fine on the DX6 IMO if you'd rather go that route - Horizon Hobby will likely offer replacement antennas for the DX7.

And I recently sent my DX6 off to get the antenna repaired. I wish they would have told me they were going to sell the antenna, I did ask if I could just buy the antenna. It cost me that much to ship it oneway to them and I have to pay the return shipping also along with the repair cost.
