That's making some very large assumptions about Spektrum's next radio, Futaba not releasing a 2.4GHz module (Futaba's been doing SS for years), and the reliability of a third party add-on that's almost vaporware at this point. In the mean time, a lockout or someone stepping on your frequency could cause a crash that costs more than $350 to fix.
Do you use eight or nine channels with the 9ZHS? After seeing some of the top pilots on the plant fly the DX7, I wonder how many people really need a supposedly better radio.
BTW, at the LV FunFly, a Spektrum rep said their boards are made here in the US, then shipped to JR for assembly into the radio. |
