heli never left the ground just learning controls been light on the skids. My eco8 tailboom bounces at slow spinup (no autogear yet) but not at speed, blades have not been balanced (no balancer yet)laid blades across tailboom cg was the same and my pitch guage lining up with flybar hard as hill to eyeball. But one blade has -1 to +9 (correct pitch) other has -2 to +8 pushrods are by the book perfect. Is the pitch imbalance or poor blade balance the cause of low vibrations. I assume I need to fix it either way where should I look to fix the pitch difference?

Pitch or balance differences can cause vibrations like that (so can different amounts of blade tightness in the grips), but you really can't go by what it's doing at low rpm. The whole thing can start resonating since there's so much flex in the airframe & gear.

You really need to start by setting the blade pitch the same on both - then test & adjust from there based on the tracking.

tryan02,
My setup is CCPM
I have set up my pitch a bit different in normal mode, which you are most likely using. I have set my pitch in normal mode to neg 5 and plus 8 using ccpm. As I did when i was a beginner, It allowed for easier landing during panic. If you have a a bunch of negative pitch, and you panic an bring the stick down to fast, your heli will sink like a lead weight and you may end up breaking something. My style is a softer approach and I have a softer negative pitch. However, you still need to get comfortable with bringing up the heli and slowly bringing it down. I set my throttle stick mid way and this setting should be 0 pitch and decent head speed, (can't remember what my speed was) as a slow head speed will create the wobble you are most likely seeing as Brett had mentioned. From that point find the neg and pos which you are comfortable with. i would also suggest as Brett mentions, is to balance the blades. Let us know how you are making out.

I gave up

I was convinced to put the eco8 away for a while and get a blade cp pro. As I could terrorize it for a lot less money and after that be able to just walk up to the eco and start flying. Thanks for the help.
