Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > DX7 so whats this shinny silver metal strap in the hardwar bag for?

Ok what is this thing in the hardwar bag there is this metal strap with one hole on each end and has a hump in the middle. Whats this thing for never seen one before? I know what the allen wrench is used for just not the strap.

If I am not mistaken, this can be used to convert your throttle from a "smooth" feel to a rachet style which is typically used with airplanes.
