Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > DX7 Binding problem

Hi All,

I am in the process of setting up a DX7 radio in a Spectra G for a friend.

For some reason the radio will only work if the binding plug is left connected and the binding procedure is followed every time the transmitter is powered up. I cannot seem to get the radio to remember the bind codes. If the bind plug is removed after the system goes online, then all goes dark and nothing works.

Any ideas as to why this is? I don't think the system is meant to leave the bind plug installed all the time.

Your battery is plugged in backwards.

When the bind plug is connected, the signal wire is connected to ground and everything works. When the bind plug is removed the ground is disconnected from the receiver.

Thanks Paul,

Yes indeed it was. I didn't think it was possible to plug them in wrong but it looks like you can on that one...
