I realise it is recommended to only use the JR8700G tail servo with PCM rx's. My question is can I use it with the DX7 AR7000RX combo or am I going to experience problems with this setup.

I know that guys are using the ar7000 with the Futaba 601, and it is recommended only for PCM. I'm sure you'll be fine.
