What is your throttle atv's high, and low?

What is your pitch atv high, and low

Did you set 0-Pitch half stick?

Please tell me your not running a 622 radio

What lenght blades?

Answer these questions first, then I can give you an idea on what numbers to punch in

Regards,
Bill

No I am not running a 662. I am using a 8103 pcm. My atvs are at present throttle 100% either way and the pitch 100% either way. I have not set the curves at all, just looking for a starting point. Also I am running 700 carbon blades. This is by far not my first Heli so I no my way around them pretty well however it is my first gasser. Why would you set 0 pitch at half stick, I would think this would over rev the engine as I am also very familiar with the zenoah engines I have 4 planes running zenoah?
Thanks

0º at half stick is the basis for a linear curve, both throttle and pitch. This set-up is also known as the 3D curve. No it does not overspeed. Just because you have 0º doesn't mean there is no drag.

Thanks for th reply. I probably wont 3d with this heli, just fly it as a sport heli. I have plenty of other helis to go nuts with. I always wanted to try the gas heli so as luck would have it the wife got this one for me for Christmas. It does seem heavy for 3d as it ways exactly 12 lbs dry.
I will say one thing, it is a beautiful kit to assemble and goes together well aside from the high parts count. I am really looking forward to flying it hopefully today if someone has some curve info. If not I will have to use the trial and error method and hope I have enough hair left to figure it out

Gassers are heavy, but they fly as if they are lighter. Go to Ron Lund's site. Do a search for Bmeador. Excellent throttle set-up info.
