Guys,

I have a new Avant on order but as yet it has not arrived! I have been told it would be here in November, for Christmas, by 2nd week of January for the 2006 3D's! Any ideas when they will be released!!!

I intend fitting YS91ST4 and understand the fan hub will need to be modified (thread is for OS91) I assume this is straight forward, any comment welcome.

Frustrated in UK.

The fan hub's easy you can use a 8mm tap with the correct pitch or even with some oil on the crank you can re-tap with the crank shaft itself!! you may find some more info in the raptor forum as the same can apply here

start looking for a stratus or vibe... I have a feeling its going to take a LONG time before that bird finally comes out.

Don't take me wrong, I'm on pre-order list myself but this whole deal isn't realistic anymore. Parts delay? Yeah, I can understand that but no dealer list, no spare parts price? Nobody else can be blamed on those ones.

The latest thinking is the end of January, but with all thats previously gone on, i guess they are a little reluctant to release anymore dates before they actually have them in their hands.....

for goodness sake. Yeah I hear it's going to be released in turbine form with a belt drive tail, G10 blades, a carbon engine mount and overhead fluffy dice with hella spotlights moulded into the canopy.

yes me too Andy. There are some that just have to go on about it don't they. It seems to me that all the whining in the world won't make it come faster and I imagine that as soon as it's here all those that say they have lost interest will regain interest in a millisecond and active RR members probably only make a small proportion of those that will actually buy it.

It's kind of funny. The owner/designer/producer of Aurora announces that this new heli will arrive probably with the expectation that his suppliers would be able to deliver and is cruicified by the masses when it is a no show. Now he's cruicified for keeping mum so he doesn't get caught in the same trap....LOL....poor bugger.

Reminder to self...don't design and produce heli....

. Thank goodness others are prepared to.

Won't the fluffy dice get stuck in the rotor when you go inverted?

His own fault.He's the one that said it'll be out 6-8 weeks after IRCHA,he didn't mention he ment IRCHA 2007.

Jeeze you guys.... I was only joking. There are no fluffy dice mounted on the rotor blade set up....they are inside the canopy.

Yes...quite. But did you read the wee part about him getting caught by his own promises after in inability of his suppliers to deliver on time and not wanting to go back down that track:
