| musta checked his follower...Like a true scaler
| I guess I'm not a true scaler especially since I bought ALL Century stuff unlike other True scalers that buy Vario and Starwood models. Like a true scaler, I also should've bought an OF head instead of a Century Head. BTW, the follower I got from Century was factory assembled in which they forgot to put a set screw but everyone in Century told me that I should've checked to make sure everything is put together right. Is that common practice? Oh, I also got a new car so should I take it apart and make sure the engine is bolted on right since it was factory assembled?
If I have to recheck anything preassembled from factory when it is new, what's the point of getting it preassembled? Next time, make sure it is all in pieces so I can put it together myself.
BTW, where in the hell are the instructions and assembly manual for the multiblade head that I bought brand new? The only instructions I got for the head is how to put the blade grips together. Nothing else for the pushrods, how to phase the head correctly with the follower, how to track a multiblade head... etc. Also, I was sold some pushrods that I couldn't even use. Although I'm not a "true scaler", I figured it all out myself. Thanks to RunRyder, I got my answers.
I really enjoyed that 2 flights that I had with my MD500 with the 5 blade head. I guess that's how long Century products last as I have been repeatedly told. Live and learn! Thanks Century.
