I just took a quick photo of my DX7 screen to see if it is any better.

Definitely a lot better than the DX6 and JR6102 (I have both)

So does everyone agree the response time is faster? I do not like the JR programming for helis, I do like Futabas, but geez, when are they going to get to the market?
I think its great technology, and its priced very very fair. Kudos to JR for a step ahead with our hobby.

Come on Futaba, step up to the plate!

To be honest fastlif I'm gettin too old and slow to give you an honest answer there. I do understand that it has been measured one the scope and it is up there with the fastest of them.

I have flown on several friends 12mz and 14mz units but I don't have enough exposure across all of them to give you and honest answer.

I do feel that it is quite crisp compared to my 10x which I have a gazillion flights on.

I had the 9C the day it came out and I loved it, up until the DX7 came out. I switched and haven't looked back. To me the basic features are similar. The switches are laid out different, the menus are different, but they aren't different in a bad way. It took me one night of programming to feel comfortable with the difference. I love the DX7 and rarely used all the features of my 9C. It works for me, but it may not for everyone else.

Cheers!

I can't tell any difference between response time on my DX6 and 9C on my Trex.

even not doing anything would have been better than nothing...

That's because the DX6 is just as slow as the 9c - The DX7 is the fast one.

That IS good news. Really hoping Futaba will be able to do something for the 12/14 series as some sort of plug in module as the 12 has some really nice features I don't want to give up.

I hope Futaba does come out with a decent system, at least like the 9C or 12MZ.
I am not a real fan of JR heli programming, so, I wait. I still give credit to JR though releasing it to us much sooner than the orange guys.
