There's been far to many members 'booted' of here over the last 18 month's, because they wore the wrong colour nail varnish.

Planker's come in then I'm sure that there will be, for the first time a few more leave of there own accord to find sanctuary in a heli only site.

This is rediculous......I feel as though I am fighting people in my own club to get air time for my heli. If this is how flying heli's is going to be then some don't need to fly heli's. This is a hobby for all to enjoy!!! Not just Heli's and NOT just plankers. If there is to be seperation then I would think the AMA would have different memberships to catagorize all that want to fly certain things. Stop the crap and enjoy flying. Too many babies have something to cry about all the time and not enough adults to enjoy a hobby. Options are all the best way to go!!!

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

Prejudice?

It has always been my perception, that Heli guys sniff at us Plane guys as stupid, less skilled, or "Not in the Know" enough to be Heli pilots.

Kind of snobbish.

And after taking up Helis, after being in planes 35+ Years, I have found this to be only partially true. There are snobs, braggarts, haters in every part of the hobby.

The separation that happens at our field, with the heli guys shoved down to the heli pad, and plane guys screaming "No Hovering on the Runway!!", only seems to add to this divide. It's a dynamic that will perpetuate itself, it's inevitable.

Certainly the two don't mix at a field without coordination. I know first hand.

RR is a great place for Helis , and it's separation from planes, has made it so. My Airplane buddies knew of it , as the where "The Heli guys go".

Put an airplane site mirrored on another site, link it, announce it, and let RR stay true to it's roots. That is what makes it a great place. Any Plane guy who buys a CX will go to RCU first, an eventually end up here when he gets a TREX, Blade, ESKY, etc...

Rightly so, no hate, just separate. Hey, that ryhmes...I could be a minister..LOL.

You make a great point...... I would have to third that.

I just like RR so I am wanting to get everything I need in one spot. Guess it's not that big a deal to go to another site for my plane needs.

Keep em flying......(just don't hover over the runway) Kidding

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

Most of us do fly both but they have their own sites. It is even a stretch to have a joke section, unless they are heli jokes. Where do you cut it off.
