Plz make a rc plane section..... it would give a nice alternative to postinng in the off topic section because as you probly already know many own a heli and plane.
Thank you, Brett

Airplane talk has to go in Off Topics for now. RR will eventually provide separate areas for other topics of interest.

I fly planes now and then too so a plane section would be good and maybe evern one for gliders too, could also have one for RC cars and boats - maybe even golf.

Great idea on a plank section. It would fit perfectly directly under "off topics".

I fly both and switch sites when needed. There is no need for "I fly helis only so go elsewhere" attitude.

Interestingly enought the other sites do have a heli section as well...but this one is my favorite.

Re: 2010

RR will be cloned into Plane/Jets, Boats/Cars and.... The clones will be totally separate for the most part. My thinking is that member names and the PM system will be the only common part.

It doesn't need to be that elaborate Mark... just call it Off Topics (Plankers)

No offense thomashome, not sure if you're kidding or being serious, but that sort of thinking is why there isn't a plane section and hopefully never will. Give a kid a donut and he'll want the whole box.

I do like the idea of having clone sites for the other aspects of RC.

Is that an ETA for clone sites?

I think if this site had a plane section would be good so I don't have to go many places like I do sometimes because this site is great and would only make it better I think. My main hobby is helis now but I started out with planes and still love the simplicity or easy flying of planes and wanting to get another plane so I can fly and stick bang is again lol.

I too fly Heli's and planes and it would be nice to be able to visit topics of both on ONE great site. Just have a link that will take you to the Airplane forum page on the main page. You don't have to list ALL the aircraft particulars on the main page as everyone is already familiar with the set up now. But one big link would be nice to redirect it...... just a thought.

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

I fly planks also, but if I wanted to talk about them (I don't) I would go to a planker site! This site is what it is because of the focus, lets not mess with that OK?
